Greetings!

Researching a Bushnell Spacemaster and landed here.

Member on several forums. Interests are: Vintage Marlin Ballards
Vintage Marlin Levers (1893s & 1894s)
Marlin .22 Levers (1891,1892, 1897, Model 39s)
Smith & Wesson P&R Revolvers
A few Semi-auto Sporting Rifles.

Used to compete in Black Powder Rifle Cartridge (BPCR) venue till glaucoma cut that short. Still able to shoot for fun though.

Lived in the Panhandle of Idaho about 30 miles south of the border for about 20 years. But now in Oklahoma.

Anyone know anything about the old Spacemasters drop me a line.

Best Regards,
John

Hey John welcome to the great white north.. I have an older spacemaster II with a wide angle 22x eyepiece very clear old school quality. My son has a 20-60 Vortex and we did a side by side comparison and were very surprised with the clarity. I see your sky vacuum season is under way down in OK and your temps have been very hot.. What have you been shooting lately ??

Craig, I’m anxious to get enough posts for pictures. My research continues on the Spacemasters, including an email to Bushness. Still waiting to see if that produces results.

Cleaned out the stormshelter last week. So far hadn’t needed to return.

Shooting is mostly limited to handguns right now due to the glaucoma.

You’re likely to see some posts in classified over on ASSRA - if we don’t get blown away first- trying to sell some Ballard MVA bases or maybe scratch up a trade for a Lyman or Marbles tang sight for Marlin 1893s.

Btw, I live in a house now that got stripped to the bottom plates in May of 99.

Best Regards, John
