Another new offering from Pedersoli- 1860 Volunteer Rifle

Well, looks like I need to start saving my pennies (er... nickels) again.
They have just produced an 1860 Volunteer Rifle (2 band) with Creedmore sights.

Interestingly, they changed the Parker-Hale twist of 1/20" to 1/21", and calling it as being optimized for 100 to 150 yards.

In the video he said the barrel was made by another company.
I really like the creedmore sights but the mount for the rear one looks like it needs better fitment.

PMG barrel = Pedersoli Match Grade .

I emailed Pedersoli with regard to the form of rifling , and asked specifically if the Volunteer had Henry rifling ( like the Parker Hale Volunteer ) .
Their reply was that it had rifling formed by broaching like their other Match Grade barrels .
My conclusion is therefore that the rifle has a conventional form of rifling .
This may or may not influence your purchase of the rifle .
