Bought my first ever firearm just over a year ago, and registered here shortly thereafter if I remember right. I've been lurking ever since, looking up answers and learning what I can. I wasn't going to post an intro, because I'm not really a gun "nut", merely an owner who wanted to learn more about the equipment of his new sport (hunting)...right?
That was... 4 guns ago. Guess I should introduce myself after all.
Sako m85, the hunting rifle, w/Leupold VXII. At just under a buck a round it seemed I should find sometihng more economical to hone my marksmanship with, so:
I don't even know what this is. I've gotten 4 stories from 3 different people, but it's a Lakefield/Cooey/Savage 64b/MarkII/MarkIII of some kind :/
Then last week I picked up my first shotgun:
Mossberg 195KA bolt-action 12ga.
Plus I've got 2 M-14s on order from Marstar.
Boring non-gun related stuff: Amateur competitive powerlifter, aspiring 4x4 racer, motorcycle enthusiast, fanatic about music you would probably find unlistenable, as socially liberal as they come but fiscally conservative, professional computer geek.
