I did the same thing with a H&G 68 mold. If I remember correctly I had the shave them done just a bit but they work great. The pressure is constant and really makes a difference in the fatigue factor if you sit down for a saturday morning casting session.

I cast 100 bullets this morning with no problem at all. It was a bit to cold in the shed to do more but I got enough to try out my .44 Russian on the next warm day.

I have had the clamp cluttering up my shop for a couple of years. You might be better to go to the store and look for them.
