Just got an email from Spectre Ballistics International. They have a different receiver set in development.

h ttps://spectreballistics.com/all-products/61-light-practical-carbine-receiver-set.html

Here's the gist of the email....

The future of firearm ownership in Canada is in jeopardy with the results of the election. In preparation for this outcome we have developed a new receiver set that uses common AR-15 components to build a bolt action rifle. While it is regrettable that this design might be necessary in the future months we are very proud of this design.

Introducing the Spectre Ballistics International Light Practical Carbine. The Spectre L.P.C for short.

The Spectre Ballistics Light Practical Carbine is a modern, customizable bolt action hunting rifle designed to fire intermediate cartridges. The L.P.C uses commonly available barrels, triggers, bolts, stocks, grips, hand guards, and magazines to be a truly customizable firearm. Ideal for hunters, target shooters, farmers, and collectors.

This receiver set will be prototyped immediately and be brought to market Q2 2020.

Clever acronym for the rifle, or unfortunate coincidence?

Makes me want to :puke: that it has come to this.

And unless it has an internal box magazine (non detachable) the Liberals may get a hard on for banning it as well :jerkit::jerkit::jerkit:

Oh come on, the Lieberals won't be banning anything - they will leave that to their lapdog the RCMP to do and walk away smiling.

"See gun owners, we are not bad - we are leaving it to the experts to decide........ " :puke:

I guess the guys that say, "owning guns is just a hobby "will love these!

They will be lining up en masse...

There’s at least 2 companies in the states that have bolt action uppers for AR’s for sale right now. I’ve seen them in magazines numerous times. So this is nothing new and no use to us as the liberals will ban all AR’s. We won’t have a lower to put these on.

I believe from the quick view on another thread concering these that they are a reciever set. In order to work as intened would need to be different than the AR lower. Merley my comprehension of the offering. As for sheepe lining up to purchase , is everyone against have multiple types/styles in their stable ?

Bolt handle on the left so you dont have to take your hand off the pistol grip?....if heir trudeau allows his subjects to have pistol grips...

The receiver set by Spectre Ballistics in a post on here is listed as a Non restricted set (upper and lower receivers)type bolt action. Not just a bolt action upper to pin on your AR (restricted)lower. Specter Ballistics posts a Canadian address in Sherwood Park Alberta. Not sure what I am missing regarding another U.S. manufactured upper for a AR lower.
