My son's boss has a 4 yr old daughter with some bad food allergies, e.g. can't eat meat with more than 3% fat. Last year my son gave his boss some moose to try. Daughter loves it, dad who had never shot a gun before and had no interest in hunting took hunter ed and PAL courses. Bought tags, going with my son this weekend to learn the ropes- boss's treat and son gets the weekend off work. Always thought that when he was a boy my son was learning skills he'd pass onto my grand children, not his boss. If all goes well a little girl will be eating healthy and local real soon, and maybe in time a lifelong family activity will come from this.
