Hey all,
I was referred on here by my friend drewz, and after zipping through some pages it looks like i should have joined a while ago. Anyway..
I'm 21, currently in Regina , although I've worked/lived everywhere from Beinfait to Stony Rapids so i'm not exactly a city boy. I'm a fairly novice shooter. Its been a few years since I've been out plinking gophers. I'm looking at getting back into it and for the past few months have been gathering some info on what rifles will suit my needs best. Looks like this is the place to learn a lot and get 1st hand feed back.
Currently i'm very close to purchasing a remmington 597 vtr as a gopher-gun. I'm also looking at something for yotes as well but haven't nailed down the caliber yet. I've been hearing great things about the 22-250. But thats for later..
anyway.. site looks great , looks like tons of info and interest
