As many of us into rimfire firearms know one 10/22 just isn't enough :) this is probably my 10th little build but one of my favorites thus far. I ended up using brownells aluma hyde 2 for the parts... holds up well and they have some great colors available. receiver, bolt and trigger are stock on this build, I did have a timney trigger group for this one but it wouldn't fit the Midwest industries chassis and I didn't want to start removing material so instead I polished up the internals on the factory trigger.

this isn't built for accuracy but its plenty accurate for plinking and busting some squirrels in the woods for some squirrel chili! off some sand bags it easily shoots 1"- groups at 50 yarts with the 2MOA dot and CCI sub HP. sights are knights armament folding micro sights and cowitness with the holosun. its alot of fun using the irons most of my 22s and centerfire rifles have optics so its fun to get back to basics.

mag is pinned, I thought I would mention it so I don't get a bunch of comments telling me its prohib

hope you all like it! the link below should take you to some pics.

Cute little thing.
- Funny that you mention it not being designed for accuracy. When I think of a squirrel rifle, first thing that comes to mind is a Cooper JSR.

If you weren't so obsessed with trying to find something illegal in every thread on this forum, you would have taken the time to read the OP.

In other news: Government still refuse to explain the various magazine capacity regulations, and the empirical data used to justify the regulation will not be made available to the general public.

Yeah I used to hunt them with my CZ builds but they are a bit to heavy for long walks in the woods. 50 yards and under is what they are normally shot at so 1" or under is good enough for me. Follow up shots are a bit quicker with this guy to :)

Here I thought I was done building 10/22’s but that is a really nice set up for sure! I find most of the kits are playing dress up to look like a rifle they aren’t but that one appears rather sturdy and adds to the overall design. Is it fairly easy to break down for cleaning, not that it really needs to be done all that often.

How to you find the open sights from 10-40 yards?
