Well after trying about a half dozen different loads in my Stevens 200 30-06 I find that the first one I tried should do reasonably. Hard to argue with a $400 rifle that behaves like this except that it raises the bar for everything else in my safe!

The rifle: Stevens 200 30-06. Talley lightweight rings. Burris 3-9 Signature.

The load: 180 gr Nosler Partition, 55.0 gr IMR 4350, CCI 250 primer in Winchester brass.

The first photo is from the 19th of August. Increasing the powder by a half grain opened up the groups to about 1.75" as did a one grain increase. I think 55 gr is the sweet spot. Average velocity is 2688 FPS. Both days were around 10 degrees.
