338 RUM Encore major malfunction. The barrel is an after market, made by Matchgrade Machining.
According to his friend who witness the whole thing, the rifle blew up after only ten rounds through the barrel. He is a Navy Seal and knows exactly what he was doing. His friend also said that he specified how deep the flutes gonna be, when he ordered the barrel from Matchgrade Machining. The deeper flutes was the cause of barrel failure, according to them. I doubt it. As you can see the barrel peeled from the chamber towards the muzzle. Sounds like they're looking for scapegoat.
