Another TC recall on Ventures and Icons

Has anyone had to deal with this recall:

What is the turn round time on getting this work done ? I'm assuming this is different from the other one they had on these rifles ?

If this is the June recall, I sent my Icon into Charleton in July, still don't have it back. Numerous emails and phone calls including S&W have resulted in no parts from the mfg. Frustrating to say the least.

Does any one know how critical this is. My venture seems to be working just fine.

I typically don't walk around with a cartridge in the chamber and the safety on anyways. Even on the rare chance that I am walking with the safety on I never trust it. Never have trusted 'safety's'.

A mate of mine down here had his recalled too.. still hasnt got it back, was months ago.
