A short barelled 870 is more reliable, we don't have barrel restrictions , so why modify a perfectly good action, when a bareel is easier.

See, I was exposed to the H&K G11 caseless ammo experimental rifle years ago at an impressionable age so I think it looks awesome ...if it was a reliable factory-built shotgun available here I'd be all over it!

Possibly a cheaper alternative to the KSG, not that it matters because aftermarket bull-pup is illegal anyhow.
