Hi folks,

I plan on tacticooling the hell out of a 10.5 inch vz58, and in my research i came across the russian ZenitCo handguard rails for the AK 47 and since i hate money, I figure it would look awesome on my rifle.

I know that the AK handguards are quite a bit shorter than the VZ, and i've searched through the forum but i can't seem to find any information on fitting metal handguards, only wooden ones. It seems like nobody has any kind of instructional write up or video so it's all uncharted territory.

So my question is....i know it would be difficult, but would it be possible? would i need to custom make a new front bracket? I'd assume a lot of grinding would be involved.

Thanks for looking!

Ben
