Can anyone say for sure if all Mark3 Webleys in 455 are Antiques or could some of them be made after 1898?

CFC have told me the frist 999 Webley 455 MKIIIs are perscribed Antique the rest are NOT Perscribed Antiques.

Very few are antique and you had best get it sorted out with the CFC/RCMP before you get your heart set on one (unless you got a 12(*)).
Also keep in mind that American dealers consider some of these mkIIIs antiques but they have a whole extra year of production that is antique down there.
I try and just think of them as an imperfect transition models it helps you to not want one. LOL.
Just do your research, be cautious and talk to the powers that be.

I have one that is de-registered low serial # 400-500 range Mark III production started in 1897 -1899 serial# started at 1 and went to 10'000

Jetrefueller, carefull MKIIs are pretty addictive. Once you have one you realize your other hand is empty and it needs one too. Then you realize one mkII was in service in India and the other in Africa and soon you need one that saw service in europe and then you need a a naval marked one in 45acp and then.............

I'd quit right now if I were you and take up smoking or gambling it will be cheaper >LOL>(see dez's photo)

The nice thing though is a large portion of these guns are in very very good shape having only been surplused out of brit stores in the late 1970s at which time they were reproofed NP tp 6 tons.
