Another what its worth question..Semi hard to get

I'm looking for a price on a pistol that is not made anymore and somewhat hard to find in Canada, Its a SS Springfield Armory GI model 1911 with upgraded grips and screws, a set off Wilson Combat sights(front milled) with the ejection port opened up and flared,plus a custom trigger job and trigger with all work done by Josef Dlask. Probably shot about 3000-4000 rounds through it. Thanks for any help.

I think you would have a hard time getting what you put into it $$$ wise. I doubt you would find a buyer at $1000, maybe $800....maybe.

If it is for insurance, get an appraisal. Usually the insured value it is much higher than the actual value.

Insure it for what it would cost to replace with something similar. You only get the insured value when you replace the item. If you don't replace it you will only get about 60% of the insured value.
