Anyone familiar with this rifle? I have recently acquired and can find nothing out about it. Plain Jane stock but a single shot with the better quality Anchultz sights. A friend looked at it the other day and said he thought it was a 54 Action and not the 64. Guessing but was it made for one year only in year 2000?

Need a model # or picture.:)
It might be a 1450B , Circa 1993 only , marked 2000 action , its a single shot, hardwood 5 lbs, 19.5 in barrel, 36 inches overall , ventilated forend adj buttplate.
Sound like it?

It's closer to the 54 than 64, but it is a new action design from what I understand, the first upgrade for the 54 in many years.
Square bottom and four action screws are just a few features....

I'm confused. If it's the gun I'm thinking of, it was intended as a inexpensive beginners gun, It was not up to the level of the 64 action and had a simple trigger.
I believe I saw one at Gobel's a while ago and it was selling for around the $400 mark. I'd much rather have a CIL 190 for that price.

However, when I search on the Anschutz 2000, it appears to be their biggest and best, current rifle.

Anschutz 2000

Notes: These target rifles use a new integrated barrel and action assembly. This makes for a more solid rifle, and also allows for a floating barrel. The Model 2007 comes in three butt lengths and is the base rifle; the Model 2007/660 has a 26-inch barrel. The Model 2012 Sport Rifle has a riser block in front of the trigger guard to make a more solid palm rest and provide more weight, and a thumbhole stock, as well as an adjustable cheekpiece. The Model 2013 Super Match is identical to the 2012, but has additional counterweight tracks and a stick adjustable in the butt, cheekpiece, and cant. The Model 2013/690 has an astounding 27.15-inch barrel.

Is it a 2000 or perhaps a Savage 2000?

It almost sounds like one of Savage's models.
The newer Anschutz action I mentioned was for their high end target rifles, but I seem to remember a savage line that was on a 64 or (modified 64) action like you mentioned, Slash...

Left to right:

Walther KKJ, very similar to Anschutz 54 action.
CIL 180, Anschutz 64 Action
Last two on right Anschutz 2000 and Anschutz Mark 12, both with same action.

Yup, as I later suspoected, it's closer to the 64, but not a true 64 action.
Thanks Diopter!
Model numbers can be very confusing sometimes, some of the Anschutz air rifle models are very close to the rimfire models.

diopter, that Walther shoot as good as mine? I find it amazing with Faderal classic 40 gr Hard points. Whats with the stock on that gun, something a miss, was it left , turned right?

It's a one holer with most decent target ammo. Tiger stripe walnut give it a great Wow! factor
It's a right hand action in the original left hand stock. I don't think Anschutz ever made a left hand action. I shoot it right handed. Doesn't bother me at all.

Thanks CATNTHEHATT for the info--thats the rifle all right but mine has the 6834 Match Sight set. A little bit fancier than the ones shown on the rifle in your photo. The sights may be worth more than the rifle itself.I am a fancier of the martini small actions myself and will be selling or trading this off.Would $750.00 be a reasonable price to ask for it?

This could be it then

What are the specs on that gun? cause there is a 64 next to the Walther, and the one on the end looks like a 64(not)
