Looking at getting a new .22, these are the two Im considering. Thoughts?
The Anschutz 1417g or the CZ 457 Royal
They are only $100ish difference in price.

I have a 1416 with the double stage trigger and love it, but the 64 action is now discontinued, so aftermarket part will be harder to find. For example, no chassis available. But, accuracy is stellar as is.
With the CZ, you can customize it.

If keeping the rifles factory stock (not talking about the stock itself, just not modifying it in any way), Anschutz is the way to go, especially when you're looking at so little of a price difference. I think of CZs as the 10/22 of the bolt action world, get the cheapest model you can find then customize to your liking. The action might be the only original part left on it when you're done!

Thank you all for the replies, I decided to go with a CZ mostly because I couldn't get hands on with the Anschutz. I have bought too many high end firearms sight unseen and had then not live up to the price tag. So I may be missing out but I haven't lost out.
