I bought my daughter a left hand 1761. It came with one five-round magazine and since then I have bought one more five and three tens,
There is no problem with the feed for the five round mags but there are with the ten round ones.
All three of the ten-round mags are different. All have feeding or ejection issues. The biggest feeding problem is with Eley Match grades and ejection is with RWS R100.
The ten round mags have been sen back to Nordic for examination and hopefully a fix.
Does anyone else have a LH model and were there any problems? What about right hand models?
Is it particular or peculiar with LH models? I don't know.
Accuracy with both ammunitions is very good.
On the 100 yard target at 100 metres she scored 1141/1200 in her first major match with only one seven.

I had a few concerns re a 10 round mag and posted these comments on RFC at the time.

This is a sample of one only but I have to say after a couple of years use, my opinion of Anschutz 10 round mags in general is still not great.
Yes, this mag feeds SK/Lapua and Eley rounds OK and this particular rifle has always ejected anything reliably.
However, It does not feed as smoothly as my 5 round mags with any make of ammunition. The red and black followers are of totally different design.
According to this and other forums, there are several "versions" of the 10 round mag so I'm unsure if they have tried modifications along the way.
In spite of this small annoyance, I've been singing the praises of the 1761 for years and my example would be the last 22 I would part with!

pick a mag that works and feeds, measure with a caliper the spacing of the lips and how they hold a 22 case
compare that to the spacing of the mags that don't feed and adjust as necessary, surprising how a couple thou will make a difference
Diagnosing a mag problem shouldn't be rocket surgery

case extraction? thats another hole, not mag related

I ad problem with my 5 round mag that came with it, will eject a round and when trying to feed the next one the cardridge would be standing up in the mag and jam, bought a 10 rounds and no problem since. I love that rifle, so smooth to operate and accurate.
