Was browsing Tradex's website and saw they have 3 Anschutz 54 target models for less than $500 a piece. This seems like a steal from the prices I usually see on the EE. Any thoughts?

I know nothing about tradex, but if its real and you can buy them through a secure payment system then buy all three, do you mind pm'ing me the ad as I will check it out and if legit buy them ifyou don't

I order one yesterday. I'll let you know about condition but since Tradex have excellent reputation, I'm not worry. At this price,

For that price, of course I had to order one too. I probably should have bought them all and kept the best one :)

They had some anschutz 22 mag, anschutz 64 action and a Walther target rifle also......for very reasonable prices. I can't imagine any of them will be sitting there for too long.

Well I guess we know where they all went, I got a 54 and the 64.

I tried e-mailing my order... guys on the phone beat me to them.... it was after hours on Friday anyway so I wasn't holding out much hope... Don't suppose those who got a 54 wants to trade me for a 64 plus cash... :) PM me

His son is away hunting and he is computer illiterate so online orders are not going to be processed (actually I think the functionality is turned off until his son returns)

Yeah I received a phone call this AM from dad. Guess I'll keep watching the site for other deals.

I managed to get the Walther :D. Which worked out great considering that was the one missing from my Walther 22LR rifle collection.

An Annie for that price would have been great. But apparently the hordes of CGNrs beat me to it. :p

There have been a couple sets of Annie sights on the EE over the last year. Figure $150 range for the basics. More if in better than average shape, or have other goodies like variable dioptres or lenses.

You could do worse than to check out the Target Talk forum. Try on the American Vintage Airguns site as well. Despite the name, the guys there have a fondness for good German airguns and the sights interchange.

I'm betting that TradEx is gonna get tired of fielding calls on those as long as they stay up on the site. And they may well believe they under priced them!

Cheers
Trev

Super 7 thanks for the heads up about tradex an the new shippment, bought myself the Unique T-66, real steal if you know the work and quality in these old French rifles and pistols, cheers Dale in T-Bay

Trade-ex .22s

Well guys, you young whippersnappers got the nice new shiny Anschutz rifles, but old Buffdog here, he got himself the Remington 513T. With it's cut rifling, modern .22 target ammo, and a bit of tweaking, it should give the Annies a run for their money. And half the price, too.

Anthony is away Moose hunting for a week, but I'll bet he has a pile of e-mails and things to sort out when he gets back.

Got my 54 and 64.....:D

Their in decent shape, both function flawlessly, triggers are beautiful.

If I get a chance I'll ge them scoped up and see how they shoot.

Well worth the money they were asking.

Received the Walther rifle today. Overall good shape as advertised.

Needed some cleanup though. Stock was dry (hasn't had oil in ages), the barrel when G96 was applied was at the beginnings of trying to form rust. Looks good though other than an exterior scratch near the muzzle which was mentioned in the ad. Just needed some TLC.

This model appears to be a Walther Running boar. The barrel is a bull barrel, without the option of aperture sights (which was correct for this model). Everything looks stock. The only thing missing is the barrel weight that this model would have shipped with. But that's not a big deal.

Great price, and a very nice hard to find rifle. Another good buy from Tradex.
