Below is a CIL rifle being sold on the EE as supposedly based on the Anschutz 54 action. To me it looks more like a 64 action.Which is it?

64- note polished cocking piece and lightweight round receiver. I'm guessing it was a typo as they mention its the same action as the 1403, which is a 64.

Ive been looking at on just like this buts its not CIL its an Anschutz 190. Not that it really makes a difference. The one Ive been looking at is in mint condition. The only reason I haven't bought it, is that I am looking for a model 54 Action. Nice rifle though.

The terminology is confusing... 190 is the designation CIL gave the rifles (the 1403) when they were imported and rebranded by the firm. Similar to the Winchester Wildcat- it's a Winchester, but it's also a TOZ.
