Anschutz dealers in Canada? Need parts for this...

Anschutz has a web sight and I sent some pictures of an old rifle that I bought. They were a great help and also dated my rifle for me.
I also required parts and bought them from North Sylva Company in Toronto.
416-242-4867, email nsc@northsylva.com, I hope this helps.

What are the odds?

The day i needed to post something ... it was already there! Well ... most of it. Is there a dealer in the West?

i have an anshutz model 310 made in west germany, bolt action .22 SLLR. It does however carry the CIL stamp on the top of the receiver and full stamping of Canadian Industries Limited on the barrel. It is one sweet tack driving rifle, unaltered except for the scope. She'll shoot the nuts off a squirrel at 50 yards. ;) :D . My favorite bolt action .22 I have ever owned.

funny you say that, i have a similar reply about the same model of gun i have on rimfirecentral where i also inquired on the subject and he says to shoot it as an adult, just add length of pull by slip on recoil pad or whatever, and it will do dime size groups at 50 yrds.

I have sent anschutz an email, no reply yet?

I just got one of those too from Ellwood Epps a couple days ago but still need to scope it. :D

It looks like it was made in the same year as my CIL/Anschutz 180. (1966)

Now all I need now is to find a CIL/Anschutz 190. That's what they use at the local Junior Rifle Club where they teach the hunter's safety training course.

Now I just ordered a Winchester 69A so I'm looking forward to getting it too. :)

Ever since I came to this site and the RimfireCentral one you guys have caused me to buy several more guns. Shame on you!!!... it's all your faults!!! :p

The C.I.L. 310 is actually a full sized rifle with a Anschutz 64 action ....

I shoot mine in it's original stock and it is very comfortable, and i'm an adult.... most of the time :D :D It's my go to grouse and bunny gun, head/neck shots are my favorite way to take em, and the 310 does the job very well. I need to find a couple spare magazines for this rifle if anyone has any kickin around.

If your gun cocks on bolt closing it is like my CIL model 167 and probably
like a CIL model 125 reapeater (of wich I only saw a drawing not even a
photo). These actions differ from a 1451 action by the fact they don't have
a cam to #### the striker when lifting the bolt handle.

If your gun cocks on bolt openning it's probably an Anschutz 1451 action.

To know if an action is a 64 or a 1451 just look at the part of receiver just
in front of the bolt handle. If it is narrow (about 5/8 of an inch) it is a 1451.
If it is wide (maybe 1 3/4 inch) it is a 64 action.

As for the actions cocking on closing I don't know their action number but
would be pleased to learn it from someone who knows Anschutz actions
better than me.

If you want parts for your gun CIL parts will fit especially the rear sight
adjustement piece wich could be taken from a model 167, 125, 180, or 310.

TheFrenchCanadian,

last year I made a magazine for my CZ 452 Varmint by making modifications
to an old Lakefield (now Savage) 10 shoots magazine. The modification would
be easier to convert one from Savage use to Anschutz use. Seem only work
with a grinder and a file be needed!

Thanks for the info, I'll keep it in file!

That's interesting, I'll keep it in mind...

I too have one that is 22 SLLR. It too has the CIL stamp on the top of the receiver and full stamping of Canadian Industries Limited on the barrel. It was made in 1965 but where can I find the model number? This rifle is also a tack driver, my favourite 22.:)
