Anyone got one of these.? Am picking one up tomorrow and am interested in a users opinion. I have read all the reviews on the web by the gun testers and they are all positive for both accuracy and function, so fingers crossed.!!!

Yep got one for christmas. Very accurate but I find it difficult to shoot well. Its pretty damm heavy for a 22. Nice little rifle.

awesome and accurate! Just don't use dirty 22lr in it.. I found after 100 rounds of thunderbolt it starts misfiring. It also wont cycle anything but high velocity rounds.

With all that said, I've put thousands of rounds of CCI minimags through it and it's easily the most fun you can have with a 22lr (in Canada anyway!) Do yourself a favor and get a front grip for it first.. helps with the weight and feel,

Weight for you too eh. I think I might have to start doing some weight exercises, my arm muscles get fatigued pretty quick holding it. Like you said, very fun to shoot. It is a dirty little piggy tho for sure..

I can consistantly keep 10 shots of CCI Mini Mag 40 gr RN inside of a 1" patch at 50 yards. I find it very reliable with said ammo until about the 300 shot mark, then a good cleaning is in order and she's good to go again. The only negative I find is the "comb" being too high when shooting with a scope. I modified the stock to make it workable for me. What a fantastic, accurate plinker/pest control rifle!

I like mine and it is very accurate but I hate the amount of parts inside. You would think the Germans could make an accurate and durable firearm a lot more simple. My Rock Island Armory MIG .22 is almost as accurate and just as cool looking but way simpler. I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability but a lot of gophers died because of it's accuracy last summer.
Check out 'Rimfire research and development" for more info on the MSR.
