Anschutz or freeland rail

I'm wanting to add a rail to my stock for use of a T slot bipod (probably a Mpod)
I'm wondering what type of rail to use, Anschutz or freeland?
I'd like to know what's more common and pros am cons of each

If my memory is correct...Anschutz rails will accept Anschutz and Freeland accessories. However Freeland rails will not accept Anschutz accessories.
