OK,

So we are working on bringing a Tactical rimfire trainer to market. What would everyone like to see on this project?

Currently we have three barrel options... blued 18" threaded barrel, 21" Nitrate barrel as pictured or
a 23" Blued barrel.

Rifle will come with a Talley 0 or 20MOA rail, Harris bipod will be optional.

Standard on the stock will be a fully adjustable cheek and buttplate, handstop rail.

Barreled action will be based on the 64R and will come with an extended Mag release.
Trigger:
Type: Two stage trigger 5092
Safety: Sliding safety catch on the right side
Trigger weight, adjusted (g): 800
Adjustment of the trigger weight (mm): 550 - 950

Some initial photos below....Thoughts?

That is lovely. Especially given the Nitrate barrel.

Given my trends these days, I would ask if a "barreled action" variant would be offered, for all of us who are MDTing our various rifles...?

Looks like a beauty. Would it be available with iron sights too? Do you have a ballpark figure for the rifle as shown? Thanks..

I do believe Anschutz USA is it's own entity, but they are producing a 1416 with an 18" threaded barrel in a Manners T6 via the custom shop. I would be very interested in this.....

I could do the same with my CZ and Leupold scope. Seems like this would be really expensive to do with a biathlon rifle. Is there a new race in the sport that requires a scope?

I can barely look at the photos of that rifle. Probably worth more than my truck. Scratch that, definitely worth more than my truck. Time to buy a lottery ticket. :)

I don't know if NM recalls I had a failed experiment on dropping a 54 barrelled action into a AICS stock for a trainer,
I'm so in but not the stock in picture...manners stock maybe?
