Wow, I saw one of these in a gunshop a week or so ago.
Not as good a condition as your friend's one.
The wood work had seen a little wear but it was a lovely rifle.
It was listed around the AUD$500 mark.
Here a mint example would probably fetch AUD$650 to AUD$700, perhaps more.
Whatever the case they're a lovely piece.
Ream it out to K-Hornet and it would truly be amazing.
