Can any owner of a 54 action post a pic of the action out of the stock and also the action screw spacing? I am wondering the distance between the action screws. It doesn't have to be super precise.
Depending on which 54 action you have. The 1700 series measure at 175mm on centre and the 54 match actions with the later 5018 trigger measure at 85mm. The 1700s have a screw behind the trigger guard and one ahead near the recoil lug. The 54 match actions have both screws ahead of the trigger and have an embedded recoil lug on the bottom middle of the action between the screws.
