Got drawn for Antelope.

Rifle is from Oct.20-Nov.9th.

Will they still have horns at end of Oct.?

Might try to get down earlier....for Archery in 3rd week of Sept.

Drawn in same zone for Mule Deer as well! So would like to combine hunts if possible.

We were drawn last year in 3,6&7. I was down for the opener and a could have shot a lot of bucks with a bow from the road. They were by themselves and pretty tolerant. Went a week later with my boy and the goats were bunching up and much more flighty. We used rifles.
If you’re in to bow hunting you will have lots of opportunity. A mule deer tag in your pocket is a bonus. I lucked on to a 200 inch nt in a piece of nothing slough in the middle of no where scouting goats last year.
For the first year of being hunted I was a bit disappointed in the size of antelope we found. They’re a bit tough to judge but we saw 70% size mediium and 29% size S. Did see one that was size L but missed! I’m not used to shooting in the crazy winds. In talking with the provincial pronghorn guy he explained it that we are hunting at the extreme range of the animals habitat and just don’t grow many 80 inch antelope. Same as trying to get a big whitetail out of Florida type thing.
