Anti hunting group stops hunting in B.C.

Get together. Raise some funds from all those rich guys that paid to hunt in BC. Then get a team lawyers. Then charge and sue the head leaders of this ant-hunting group, the law makers in BC who allowed this to happen, and the people mentioned who gave money to fund it all. You charge and sue them based on raceisum. The Librals have put in some tough laws on raceism. I suggest you use it, and use it very strongly.

first question, how do the indians propose to stop resident hunting next year?

second question, if the outfitter's quota of grizzlies isn't filled, will the gov't increase the LEH quota? (as a side point, i heard that this is the reason that alberta now has a goat season down by waterton, bc was going to increase the number of goat tags in MU's bordering alberta).

and what is wrong with this statement?

"prior to the agreement, hunters would have been allowed to kill as many individuals of any other type of animals as they wished.".

 My favourite quotes:

B.C. residents, who operate under different regulations, may continue to hunt and kill wildlife in the area, but members of the five first nations hope to see an end to that early next year.

and

First nations representatives, who are negotiating a land and resource management plan with Victoria, say they hope the deal will be expanded in early 2006 to include a ban on resident sport hunting as well.

Well at least write a letter, I did and the editor seems to agree with me on this, here is the proof. Notice I did manage to say that I use handguns also... thought that would be important.

Ooops forgot to mention this was in the Vancouver Sun, today... December 14th. :)

good to see.

Riley: im feeling and thinking exactly the same as you are.
I dont understand this, the first nations play the racist card to get what ever they want, even if in the process they are them selves being racist.

i like the way you think grit. the tree huggers just got one step closer to stop grizzlie hunting and it wont stop there. tree huggers are great at organizing us hunters not so good. we better be careful if we plan for our children to follow in our foot steps. stand up and be counted boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The native hunting issue is getting rediculous. ALL my ancesters hunted to survive. WTF makes their ancesters more relevant than mine? The natives climb into bed with the raincoast morons, and all of a sudden, they are all "sustainence hunters". What a crock of ####. If they are hunting to survive, where are all my tax dollars going...popcorn and beer?

If any of you hunts and eats what they kill you are in essence sustainence hunters. You hunt to eat what you kill. Period. I am not worried about the natives in particular, once Raincoast sees their "sustainence hunting" methods (like I could name a few :( ) I don't think they'll be wanting this so called partnership. What I am worried about is the folks with the big dollars, not the 1.35 million that was paid for these rights to guide there, but the real rich guys who might feel like 'sponsoring' this group. With a big financial backing there is not much you can not buy from our current government....

We need a conservative government that will protect everyone's rights to hunt and fish. Not just the folks with money and the folks with so called heritage/privlidge to hunt.

Cheers,

Alex

p.s. Don't forget to write to papers if something bothers you. Never know, just might see it in print. The next thing I need to object to is the provinces proposed bait ban for all freshwater fishing, now that's another can of worms (pun intended) that I don't want to get into right now...

Ok guys there was a letter attacking my letter in the Sun today. Anyone care to help me out and send some letters?

Thank you.

p.s. I'll post the letter when I find it online

it's no wonder that it has come to this - whities arent entitled to anything but trailers down by the river these days
