I'm building a full list of Antique Military Revolvers. (I'm building a website about antique handguns, and would love to add more handguns......if you have and own pictures of a gun that I do not have online, and you would be interested to have it featured, please send me a PM....all pictures will be credited to the person sharing his/hers pictures)

What I have so far are:

France:
MAS 1873 Revolver 11mm
MAS 1874 Officer Revolver 11mm
MAS 1892 Revolver 8mm

Germany:
M1879 Reichsrevolver

Sweden:
Husqvarna Model 1887 7.5mm

Switzerland:
Model 1882 Ordnance revolver

UK:
Webley MK I
Webley MK II
Webley MK III

I know that there's a lot of US military handguns too, but I'm not fully sure what was military and what was not...

Many thanks!

I assume you mean under Canadian law?

US:
Colt 1860 Richards-Mason Conversion
S&W 1875 Schofield

UK:
Adams Mk.I
Adams Mk.II
Adams MK.III
Tranter 1878 Army Model
Enfield Mk.I
Enfield Mk.II

Belgium:
Nagant M1878
Nagant M1886

Serbia:
Nagant M1891

Norway:
Nagant M1883

Italy:
Glistenti M1874
Bodeo M1889

Germany:
Reichsrevolver M1884

Austria-Hungary:
Gasser M1870
Gasser M1870/74
Gasser-Kropatschek M1876

Russia:
Smith & Wesson 1871 Russian Model
Nagant M1895

Japan:
Smith & Wesson New Model Frontier
Meiji T-26

Brazil and Argentina used Nagants in .44 caliber, but I'm not sure of the model. If you just mean 19th century revolvers, obviously there'd be more.

Here are some others I came across and will share with you :

Germany:
M1879 Reichsrevolver (long barrel)

U.S.

S&W First Model Double-Action (DA)
Remington No4 pocket revolver

Great-Britain/Belgium:
Bulldog and Velodog revolvers (a lot of different variants out there)

Belgium:
French 1892 Ordinance Revolver Copy (low quality, mainly sold to Uruguay)

P.S.
Great idea on making such a website... this is exactly the kind of reference Canadian antique firearms collectors need!

:)

Thought of a few more.

Model 1878 Ordnance Revolver

Netherlands:

Mexico:

Spain:
Orbea-made S&W No.3 Double Action copy in .44-40

Denmark:
Fagnus M1880

Montenegro:
Gasser 1st Model Montenegrin (AKA M1874)
Gasser 2nd Model Montenegrin (AKA M1880)

Saxony:

Turkey:
S&W Russian Model in .44 Henry Rimfire
S&W New Model Frontier in .44 Henry Rimfire

Japan:
S&W Russian Model
(Also, my listing of New Model Frontier was wrong, it was the New Model No.3 listed previously, not a Frontier model)

Argentina:
Forehand & Wadsworth Old Model Army (must have been very small numbers as only a few hundred Old Model Armies were made)
S&W New Model No.3

Ihave a Colt DA 1878 in 455 that was bought by a british captain and carried thruout his life in the british army even when he became a colnel.
