I'm chuffed and kinda proud of myself. To make a long story short, when I acquired this pistol I almost had a heart attack. I've had some very nice ones pass though my hands over the years but this one is absolutely phenomenal! The bluing is original and gorgeous. The bore and chambers are like a new pistol and it sports very uncommon after market walnut grips. Sadly, it had a mechanical issue and after some research and kindness from our southern neighbours, I managed to get a new sear and fit and install it which has resolved the issue. If there's one critique, it's the fact that the barrel latch, though perfect, is not serial numbered to the pistol and I speculate that it may have had an adjustable target sight which was later swapped out for another pistol. This has the 1-7/16" cylinder with the case mouth stop so it's in .44 Russian and it also sports the 6-1/2" barrel. If you love these old pistols as I do, you're going to love the pics. Enjoy!

This is one of later manufacture but essentially the same thing. It sports the pearl grips. It looked very tatty when I got it but I did the work to prep it and had it professionally reblued. It's also in .44 Russian.
