Antique winchester 1866 and 1873

Hey all.
I have the opportunity to buy a winchester 1866 in .44 RF 20" bbl (round) with full length mag. Still has 2 piece cleaning rod. Good functional condition. Made 1869
and a 1873 in 44-40 24"round bbl full mag, 4 piece cleaning rod. Made 1874.
I know a pictures worth a thousand words, but what is the top and bottom value of these guns in good condition? Also with ammo and loading tools.
I know I know it's hard to tell without photos! I will attempt to get some

Ok, for the '66 - $2500 to $15+ grand depending on condition, provenance, serial #'s, desirability, etc.
And ultimately only worth what someone is willing to pay, and what someone is willing to accept.
 
The Winchester 1866 is quite rare especially here in Canada and even in rough shape but all original $2500 minimum is pretty conservative. Upper value would be over 10,000 at least. The 1873 Winchesters run from $1200 up to $4000-$5000 in very good condition in a rifle, higher in the saddle ring carbine by as much as 50%. The .44/40(.44 WCF ) commands the highest prices in the 1873 with the .38 WCF and .32 WCF bringing less money in that order. Special order features will increase value substantially. Standard rifle had a crescent butt, straight grip, full magazine, round barrel 24 inches in length. Pics are really required to narrow it down.
 
That 66" may be a sleeper far above anything said so far. The Vern Vossler estate sale had a # of "good" 66's and I think they averaged 27,000 with one going over 40 (of course a deluxe model) and that was more than 10 yrs ago.

I agree with you that values for a good 66 are crazy high but in Canada high dollar buyers are few and far between. If I owned it I would ship it to James Julia or some other auction house in the U.S. if I wanted to get top dollar for it.
