Anybody heard of these guns before?? I'm looking to buy one from Brother in Law. If any body has any information on them, that would be great. Thanks.

The Zoli family has been making shotguns and rifles in Italy for a long time. The company is alive and well, and has American and European distribution. Today they concentrate mostly on U/O shotguns for hunting and competition, although their custom shop turns out sidelock SxS's and U/O double rifles. They have a website which Google will locate for you.

Some of their SxS line made from the 1940's to the 1980's are pretty cheaply made, but the newer U/O's are of quality construction, built on modern CNC equipment.

One branch of Zoli also made bolt action rifles that were built on the Husqvarna 1900 pattern. That action is quite well regarded by some.

I retailed there O/U shotgun in the mid and late 80's many of them game back to bite me in the Butt. they are of moderate quality at best if you use it as a field gun it would likely be fine as for a value $ 300-$ 400 would be reasonable.

I shoot a zoli "Z" gun, they are well made, however they just bought out a new model to compete in the market that is not as well made as the Z series.
I find they are not as well known here in Canada as in the States. As well as I have had to replace the springs in mine after about 5000 rounds, the good thing was that it was very easy and not expensive around $50.
They dont have as many chokes as some of the other models I've noticed and the chokes they do have seem to shoot tight on the patterning board.
If you want more info pm me.
