If you have this set up, I'd be interested in seeing pics, and hearing how it works for you...

My 10/22 is stock other than the hogue stock I put on it. Just looking for a lightweight, relatively inexpensive sight to put on it that I don't have to worry about getting a little marked up in the bush. And the TRS seems to be one of the best reviewed small red dots I've come across.

I had the strike fire and while it was good on the sr22 I want to try something else out and am really debating the TRS 25.

Thanks for any pics and input guys!

I think they are the best bang for the buck.
Dot is nice and clear and easy control nobs.
Like them enough I put one on my sks.

+1 for the TRS 25! I have on on my 8" 10/22. Put it as close to your eye as possible for the biggest FOV. Holds zero like a champ and the bikini cover is pretty useful. You can strap it on the scope "sideways" for retention while the scope is in use.

Good to hear! Thanks guys! And pc9... Wanna sell me your barrel? Lol what is it and where did you buy it?

I bought that barel years ago from Fabsports.
It's a 11.5 inch ER Shaw barel.
I actually want to find a 10 inch so it will fit nicer in the stock.

Well my TRS 25 got here yesterday. MAN that thing is small! Lol but my first impression is very good! Look like it should do just fine. Hope to have some pics and a short review after I take it out this weekend!

I just ordered one for my tacticool 10/22 build ;)
I also ordered a knockoff 3X magnifier from Hong Kong and will see if I can get that to work with a riser as well :pirate:

Not finished my build so no pics yet sorry.

No issues as of yet, me and a lady friend put over 500 rounds through the 10/22 today. Mind you it was 25 degrees out and it wasnt in any water lol

But I'm really liking this setup! The dot is nice and small and it just works awesome! I would not hesitate to buy another!

Well guys! I just remembered I said I'd throw up a pic, but I forgot to take some of the rifle itself as it was a heck of a good shooting trip!

However I just looked through all the pics I snapped on Saturday and found a decent one of the woman playing with the rifle!

I must say 4 butler creek 25 rounders and TRS 25 make a heck of a combination!

I found this thread late, but here's some pics anyway. This is my mini SOCOM replica with a 12" McGowan barrel, UTG quadrail and TRS-25.

So far the TRS and rifle have been trouble free and a boat load of fun. My 13 year old wants to carry this for grouse this fall, it should twist up the fudds pretty good. ;)

Anyone have any problems with water leakage or fogging with their TRS-25s?

Not personally, but I have seen a couple of people post in the red rifles forum about moisture problems with them. I seldom shoot in the rain so I am not too worried, but it seems to be a possible issue for those who do get wet from time to time.

I also have one on my ruger 10/22 takedown. As mentioned previously, it holds zero after takedown and fits great in the left side pocket with it mounted.
Nice, cheap and reliable so far.
