$0.50/ round for Norinco is ridiculous. Ammo prices are certainly up but think for a second about what this stuff must have cost. Lithuanian stuff is going for about this much which tells you something about the prices of surplus .308 on the world market. That ammo is boxer primed and new production.
I will admit we can't get the Lithuanian ammo up here but equally Norinco cannot export their ammo to the US, which from a simple market economics point of view makes the Norinco ammo less valuable (assuming is was already made).
What really kills me is how many guys will fall over themselves thanking the people who are taking their money. I'm not blaming johnone for being a good bussiness man; he is doing nothing wrong. I am critical of my fellow gun owners who drive prices up by what is in my opinion ignorance and while prostrating themselves and generally acting like teenage girls with a crush.
