My .44 target practicing is becoming cost prohibitive. What are the best going prices for factory 240gr FMJ, JHP, JSP? Where? Bulk is good.

For lots of bang for the buck, you need to get into reloading. Taylor your loads for target or big bang just to feel good. Cost of equipment is quickly recovered when shooting big bore.

Truth to be told, I have an unopened RCBS Rock chucker kit sitting in my basement for a few years now. I have also managed to save a good amount of casings for my favorite calibers. It might be time to set it up and learn. Still, it would be good if there were some good deals around for factory 44's.

There aren't, the cheapest nastiest .44 I ever found was still 82 cents a round. Reloading .44 has about the best payback there is.

Yep, reloading is the way to go, I can load a hot 240gr round for 18 cents/round vs buying for a $1/round.

Yup!
I'm loading 240 cast bullets at 1200 fps for about 16 cents a round. I haven't bought a single round of .44 Mag in about 9 years (still have 2 1/2 boxes of factory stuff I haven't shot).
My jacketed .44 mag ammo costs me around 22 cents a round. I bought LOTS of bullets when they were cheap or I found them at swap-meets and gun shows.

460mag and 500mag do. $3 a shot is the cheapest factory (locally) i've ever seen for 500mag. my reloads are 25 cents using my cast.

44mag is 20 cents a reload for me using wolf cast bullets.
