Any 7.62x54r coming soon?

Does anyone know if any surplus 7.62x54r will be coming soon? I don't have much left.:(
Canadian tire(Red Deer) had some 54R (soft tip) in i was quite suprised . cant remember how much it was , but it was less than 15 bucks im sure, 12 i think but dont quote me . they had a bunch of federal 308 for less than 13 bucks a box so i got some of them .

I assume you mean mil spec. In that case, this just in from the 7.62x39 thread:

Czech X54 has been stopped. We have lots of X39 coming. There is another thread on this.

Whatever is going on, they've decided the mercury from primers is more dangerous than the thousands of litres of mercury and other chemicals leaching from mines and factories again.

How much mercury is in a primer compared to the amount in a compact fluorescent light bulb? The CF bulbs are being promoted at the greatest invention ever and the government is making us buy them buy outlawing the sale of regular bulbs. The fact they contain mercury is being quietly overlooked.

I spoke to Marstar and they said it is coming in, give it a month or 2.

The main difference is that the mining industry has a legion lawyers, the ammo importers don't.

Word on the street is that there is a shipment on the stuff on the way, ETA for this winter IF CBSA don't play their usual shenanigans and delay it for X time over whatever they can think of.

7.62x54R;
We still have some but we were ordered to withdraw it from the market....

Although on the approved list, we were advised "it is not approved"

so... does this mean we are S.O.L. for getting this ammo any time soon? I am looking for a bunch as well.... the box has run dry
JOHN... will you guys not be able to sell this in the future???

Actually mercury isn't actually mined...........Cinnabar is the ore that contains mercury........The rock is mined and then heated to ###X F and the mercury leeches out and the ore is discarded.

Primers carry mg worth of mercury, and in the form of a salt
Mercury Fulminate.............

CF florescent bulbs are about 1000 times more mercury - when compared to a bullet

Take care

Yeah, I know that. What I am trying to say is that big corporate interests have lawyers to push their case. Ammo importers don't and as such they suffer for it. The importers could take on NRCAN-ERD and win, but they just don't have the money to fight the Feds in court.

I'm sitting on my own personal stockpile of Hungarian Heavy Ball. Saw this coming a year ago and bought every bit I could find. No, none of it is for sale, sorry....
I sure hope we come up with more soon though. A couple thousand rds doesn't last long when there is none to be found anywhere to replace it.....
