Figured I would get out infront of the pending powder shortage. Is anywhere in stock of 8lb jugs of h1000? I have found places that have the 1lb jugs, 8 lbs is just a little nicer for price.
Any 8lb jugs of H1000 out there?

I ended up getting 10lbs from londero in the 1lb jugs. Shipping wasn't horrible using Purolator. Should be enough to ride out the shortage.
and of course you checked to be sure that they had some before posting this, right?

You phoned them? Their web page says they are out of stock of just about everything Hodgdon. I just tried calling but phone is busy. I have an e-mail in to them. I know of a couple of people looking for H-1000 and they haven't been able to find any. I'm going to call first thing tomorrow.

Well that’s what came up under their price list. It was 2017 for the longest time and the prices were accurate. Take care.
No, you said they sell them for $270 - which they don't, and implied it was available, which it isn't. According to Higginson, there MAY be some arriving within the next 2-4 weeks but they are not certain of what, when or how much. And before everyone starts phoning them, they are going to update the current price list, which says OUT OF STOCK for pretty much anything Hodgdon and has been that way for many months, once they actually receive a shipment.
