Any advice on a 12v clay thrower in the $1000 range?

The only one I can find in canada is a Easy bird auto feed double I'm not even sure if the company has stock. Dose anyone own a good 12v single or double thrower that they really like?
As always any advice is appreciated.

I have a Bowman that seems to work fine, only throws singles, but will cycle fairly quick. I also have a manually operated Lincoln that is super smooth and throws great doubles or singles. The 12 volt by nature is a little harder on targets compared to the Lincoln, but hard to beat for convenience.

Just talk to the skeet clubs if they want to sell their old machines. Best deals ever!

I picked up a Do All Outdoors Fowl Play thrower and their wobbler kit from Cabelas. It was about $700 all together. It works very well. The wobbler moves the thrower back and forth 45 degrees and can also be set to move it up and down as well. I'm happy with it. It only throws singles though.

I have a easy bird double from Lawry's. Great service. I got the cart and wobbler and oscillator. You certainly don't have to add them all at the same time. I'm happy with mine, and so are all my buddies that shoot with me!!!

If you would like to spend a few more dollars a Promatic Merlin is a very good trap, I think they are around 1500 maybe even a few dollars less. Call Tom at TA Ferguson in Calgary he's the Promatic Dealer. I have 7 machines and 2 of which are the less expensive types and I find them to not be worth it as they break lots of targets and miss feed compared to the commercial machines. Of my 5 Promatics I have 1 Merlin and I really like it, great value in a commercial platform. They other one is that they will last forever for a home use situation. Just my two bits.

Take care.
