Any Antiques at the Calgary gun show

Well I could not make it this year did anybody buy a nice antique pistol or rifle? or were the prices too high

There were sure some nice antique pieces. Colts, duelling pistols, single shot target rifles.... Many things that I would love to own.

Not sure how reasonable a lot of the prices actually were though because I hit a kind of mental block when they go into 5 figures.

The stuff I saw was priced beyond my consideration, but was neat to see, at least. One fella had a table mostly covered with boxed sets. Mostly flinters and antique percussion pistols, but one was a 41 cal Colt Thunderer ($3500 IIRC), as well as a 41 cal SAA ($4800 IIRC).

Couple other guys had some of the center hammer style BP pistols for silly money. (too much, silly, not too cheap silly)
