Anybody use the breakthrough technologies battle born grease? Preferably on their m14, m305 rifles.
Wondering if this is a good grease for the platform?
The wide operating temperature is what gets my attention so it can be good for both winter and summer applications instead of switching to oil for cold temps.

Sounds like some super secret operator grade snake oil.

I’ve yet to come across any petroleum based oil or grease that will hinder a firearms ability to operate as it should so I don’t see how this would be any different.

Any low temp grease should have a similar temp range and will work great and be a lot cheaper that $20/4 ounces. The Mobil1 I use was something like 25 for 14 ounces for comparison.

buy a tube of high grade moly at your local UFA , peavy mart, princess auto, any farm supply store for 8$ and be set for life. all high presure gun grease these days are every bit as good if not better than snake oils/ greases for crazy prices

Lithium die makers grease for me. Stays where you put it, and is quite clean.

I have not tried that product but I have been using Slip 2000 now for a couple years and their grease works awesome on my M14, I use that grease like red hot I put that s*it on everything :) but just a very thin layer is all you need. The oil works awesome as well but after using the grease I have been using that for the lubrication of my firearms the oils are CLP.

As a public service, I lucked into a yellow one gallon tub of Aeroshell airplane grease. If it is good enough for flight safety applications, it is probably going to work on a limited service firearm.

PM me if you want a small Tupperwear tub. It will last a lifetime on your gunsmithing bench.

Same here, I use whatever grease I have on hand. And Tranny oil for lube.

Meal team six Neckbeards do love to pay for snakeoil tho !

Ditto!!

I use generic Automatic Transmission Fluid as my go-to surface barrier layer. It is cheap, comes in big bottles, brushes on nicely, flows well, settles into the pores, and actually lubricates when it is required. Can't say much for its rust cutting abilities, but floating off crud is half the game.

I use whatevers in the grease gun on the farm

Same here, automotive grease gun grease.

Also for oil use 5W30 Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil, flows to -69 Degrees C (Great on Garage Door Rollers too when they get dry) and have some Lubriplate grease.
