I just got it, my range is under maintenance now so I don't have range report yet, but so far I am very impressed with this pistol. It's like hybrid of Beretta and SiG Sauer with the feel of CZ :) I was wondering if the name of this pistol has something to do with it - BERetta sigSAuer :) I love how it feels in my hand, slide is very easy to rock ( unlike Beretta and CZ), ambi controls. Can't wait to take it to the range. Anyone?

500 rounds down the pipe of mine. Every type of ammo I can throw at it.. Eats it all, not one single malfunction.
Super accurate! Feels great in the hands and has easy big well placed controls. Really nice front sight (larger front dot than some other guns). Single action pull is perfect, double action pull is long, but i quickly got used to it. Im really happy with it and i think its a keeper.
I should admit I had issues with 1 mag out of the 5 right out of the box. Bad moulding on the follower didnt let it come up all the way to lock the slide, took it appart, filed a tiny bit of plastic, and fixed the issue. This was before my first range trip.. I havent heard of anyone else with this issue so im willing to accept it was a one off problem.

It is probably, one of the most accurate, out of the box, production guns I've ever had. I have an older one, and the newer one being sold now.

Ergonomically, it's the cat's whiskers. Weight and balance, ditto. I have never had an FTF or FTE.

These are fantastic guns, made for the Argentine military and police.

They feel, look and perform great. You can't go wrong with a BERSA.

Especially, for the price. They outperform guns that are twice the cost.

I was just reading a review in one of my gun mags last night ,seems to be an overall well built ,nice shooting pistol.

May I ask where you purchased it ?

If you can deal with the heavy DA on the first shot, almost everything else about the gun is pretty impressive IMO.

If these had been built in the early 80s, I bet they'd be riding in a lot of agency holsters today. They are kind of a throwback gun but they're built really well. I think they're easily the equal of 3rd generation S&Ws and I would like to see a shoot-to-the-death between a Thunder 9 and a current production out-of-the-box 226, because they could quite possibly be competitors.

And that is pretty high praise IMO.

I'm going to buy the .22 once funds allow. It looks like fun.

The author of the article also mentioned the .22 cal pistol you mentioned, he liked it and said it ate pretty much all the ammo he fed it ,CCI mini mags being the best, although it shot the bulk stuff without too many issues.

It`s a weird looking (in a good way) pistol, but I like it too.The front site has to be removed in order to tear down the gun for cleaning ,but didn`t seem to be a big deal.

Cool and well made guns indeed !

I have two of the earlier models that Marstar brought in. Only positive things to say about them.
Would love to get another from Nick.

If you want the .22 to feed bulk, look for the hottest bulk you can find and keep the gun really wet. They'll feed and extract bulk, but only if you make it easy for them.

That`s funny ,the fellow who did the review for the .22 said keep it so wet, your hands should be full of oil, then get it wetter ! LOL

I love the look of these pistols. They're one of those ones that look like they'll fit like a glove. The two-tone really looks nice. Better stop looking. Bad enough trying to decide what I want to buy in the spring without adding another choice.

I imagine it'll wear in.

A bit of CLP on the rails n such. Too much oil gums up a .22 pretty quick with all of the gritty soot that comes out of them.

I did see the article in calibre. The 9mm I might try for shiggles one day, though I don't really want another new 9mm platform. The price is very reasonable to get one to try, though.
