Im looking into a Blaser BB97. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with one and how you like it.

Cheers.

I used my buddy's Blaser O/U rifle when visiting him in Germany last year. His is configured as a Bergstutzen, ( "Mountain Carbine" ) two different calibers. 8x57R and .222. It was very well built, solid, and accurate from each barrel. Convergence / regulation was not perfect, but within a hands width at 100 M. Not sure if different ammunition would have made that better, but probably because he had switched to all copper bullets due to a change in regulations in their hunting area. In any case the barrels are actually adjustable, and that can save you a lot of trouble and save big $$ if you need to tweak convergence. The Blaser scope mount system is as good as any on the market and returns to zero when removed. Triggers are excellent too. I find the cocking mechanism quite stiff so needed to practise that move with my thumb. If you like the style you will not be disappointed with the build quality.

I don't have a double, but a K95. Well built and solid. Superb fit and finish. 7x57R....shoots very well with Swift A-frames.

I owned a Blaser S2 sxs double rifle, chambered in the 9.3x74R. It's a beautiful well manufactured rifle with an adjustable barrel for POI. However, it is really a useless firearm for the hunting method I pursue, therefore it went on the "for sale" chopping block.
