Due to a series of misfortunes & bad timing I've missed out on two Sig 226 Elite Stainless 9mms in the past two days. Is anyone aware of any dealers that have them in stock? Questar lists them on their site but with the requisite 12-24 week waiting period and I'm not that patient. I have posted an ad on the EE but I will go the dealer route if I have to. Any help appreciated. :D

I have a 226 Elite Stainless and a 1992 German made 226. You will not be disappointed with the Elite.....

Trigger is fantastic
Night sights are great
Smooth, tight operation
outstanding fit and finish

Not cheap, but worth every penny - Here's some P226 #### to make you want it even more!

Someone will be along shortly to advise you to get the Norc version with an Armco trigger job..........cause it's the same thing....

I just saw one in Target Sport, German made frame, stainless steel, 9 mm, $13xx not quite remember.

Sigs are on sale right now at Questar for $1197. I'd go over there, put the 25% down and wait. Best price of the season and when I last backordered a pistol, it only took 6 weeks. You can always buy a used one from the EE...

Now that is a nice looking anti tank knife you have there.

Zombie tools Urban Bone Machete.....just in case!

Hahaha, I stand corrected. But at least if you get trapped in a tank like Rick in TWD then you can cut your way out. Very nice collection by the way, gives me something to aspire to one day.

Everytime I see a photo of your gun room it makes me jealous, then angry, then happy, then a little sleepy.

Seriously though Shooter1of38 what the hell do you do for a profession?????

Well.......when I was growing up my father instilled something very important in me.

He told me Find something you LOVE to do, something that you're passionate about, and then find a way to make money doing it.

It really is that simple, if the first two are in place, the money comes easy....but the money is still secondary to loving what you do

But in the words of Ben Affleck in Boiler Room...."they say money can't buy happiness, check out the fu<kin smile on my face". "people who say money is the root of all evil don't F'n have any"

Found a real nice low mileage used one at a great price. Thanks for the tips.

Congrats on your purchase, they're great guns. I have a p226 ST all steel, and ordered another one from Questar. I've since changed my mind about wanting the gun, though but already put 25% down and committed to buy it. Anyone wanna buy my place in line for the nitron stainless? :D I've been waiting since mid July, and kind of want to go a different route now.
