any demand for 150gr .309 cast?

i have just recently started casting for the 30-30 and 308, and not to mention my 30-06. just wondering if there is any demand for them on the EE. i will be ordering a sizing die, but about 95% come out at .309" and as for actual weight i have to buy a scale tommorow at work.
after all i rolled of neerly 2k today alone.along with about 200 .430" 310 gr for .44 magnum rifle.(great for the rossi puma shooters) after all i have a very consistent supply of wheel weights. and work is a bit slow right now.please get back to me with your comments and or suggestions, thank you very much.:D:D
 
I've always been intrigued by the idea of shooting cast out of my .30-06, but I'm turned off by the hassle and complexity of actually having to melt the lead and cast the bullets. If there was a great way to buy some bullets for the .30-06 (and some .314s for the .303), I'd definitely be interested in trying it.
 
i am using the lee flat nosed 150 gr mould. i just talked to my local dealer and we will be selling lots there. he has agreed to buy me a sizing die and i will be aloxing them, and gas checking them for the higher velocities. i am loading some right now as we speak. i will be out at the range next weekend and post some pics of my results on paper. i'll take a picture of what they look like right away also. unlubed,unsized, and ungas checked for now.

the mould is lee number 90366.

Ken if the bullets don't sell as fast as you want, melt wheelweights down into cupcake tins and sell them for a $1 a pound!! + shipping.
You can find cheap cupcake tins at the dollar store. smoke them first, before use.
I use alot of the 90366 and 90368 in my 30 cal rifles.

thanks i work at can tire in the auto shop, so i'll pick one up also tommorow for ingits. that is my plan anyways as i almost have to much lead filled 5 gal pals laying around right now lol.i think i got like 5-6, 5 gal pails full at the moment.
 
Quite often wheel weight alloy is either too soft or too brittle for use on big game, and usually requires tin and/ or Linotype to harden the bullet without the brittleness. For target use, being brittle is not a concern, leading may however occur with the soft bullets if using heavy loads.
 
i mix in some tin solder with it to strengthen it up. i go about 8" of tin solder per every 10-15 pounds of lead.it is a mix. i also do mix in about 5% pure lead also. my pan holds 50 pounds of lead at a time. i put in 24" of tin solder, 3 lbs of pure lead and rest wheel weights. for my plinking rounds i use just wheel weights.
 
i think i will say .16c each straight from mould or .20c each, gas checked and lubed and sized to .309". (shipping not included actual shipping cost applies) i am waiting on my sizing die at the moment. but they will be aloxed and ready to load. i have some unsized and un gaschecked i am goin to be testing out on saturday. so i will also be posting target pictures up here on there accuracy out of my 30-06.(my sizing die should be here in about a week or 2)
 
ok as promised i got a target with a 3 shot group i did today. the taget was shot at 100 yards, no scope adjustment,holding at dead center of target with a front sandbag as rest. the one flyer was my fault do to pulling the trigger.

i used my rem 770(main gun for now) overall for my first cast boolits i have ever shot i must say i am very very happy with the results. once my sizing die and gas checks arrive i will be posting some on the EE for sale.
