I am no expert but from what I now all models are available in Canada. They are lots of members on this board with full size Desert Eagles in every available caliber.

Personally I'm not a fan of the DEs, given the price and what it is...a hunting pistol. In any case, I'm surprised it isn't on some ridiculous list of banned firearms because every bad guy in the movies has a DE in .50AE no?
