Any difference between 2 Winchester slugs?

My smoothbore slug gun likes standard Winchester Super X 12 ga., 2 3/4", 1 oz, Foster-style slugs. According to the box they leave the muzzle at 1600 fps. The other day I mistakenly purchased the "High Velocity" version, which is claimed to get 1700 fps, but all the other specs are the same. Has anyone compared the performance of these 2 slugs? Is there much of a difference?

100 fps won't make much difference. Try 'em though.
