I could use some help in either finding a particular issue or at least the volume and issue number that contained an article about the Browning BSS Sidelock shotgun.

If anyone subscribes to this publication would you flip through your back issues and let me know which one I should order? I can't seem to find an index of articles online.

Sorry can't help you on that particular issue. You might try this website www.doublegunshop.com These guy's can be of great service.
 
There is a brief article entitled "Browning's Best Gun" on pages 141 - 145 of vol 14 Iss 3 (Autumn 2003).

It concerns only the B-SS sidelock.

If I come across any others I will add to this post.
