Any experience/opinions on Burris MTAC 3.5x–10-42mm?
I'm looking for an optic for a Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 (20")
Rifle will be used for target shooting primarily, with some occasional hunting. Realistically, 99% of the time it will be fired within 100-500m.
I'm interested in the MTAC 3.5x-10 as it is mil/mil. I'm tracking on the FFP/SFP issue, but have some experience calculating mils and am on a pretty tight $500 budget. I'd prefer to get something that is well made and decent within obvious performance limitations, than something poorly made with greater potential.
Does anyone have any input or other suggestions?
