I have one. I got it at least a year ago. I like it and enjoy shooting it a lot. It seems most people think it's butt-ugly; probably not too popular due to that? Doesn't seem there are many people with one and any mention of it here seems to attract a lot of critisism about the looks.
The internals are pretty simple and reliable. It feeds anything I give it, and it's accurate. Front sight and rear sight are adjustable, front sight can be fiddled with an SKS tool.
The mags kind of take a beating, however. There is no bolt hold-open - the bolt stops on the follower to stay open on the last shot.
Shooting Edge in Calgary has plenty of mags last I checked. But I minimize the wear on mine by doing a reload when the last shot of the mag is chambered so the bolt never tries to close on an empty mag.
I haven't had a mag malfunction yet but I can see wear from before I started doing that. Would be less of a problem if we could load them to the full 30 rounds instead of 5.
I think it's a great gun and certainly worth the price I paid, but to each their own.
