any good .338 hornady 225g recipes ??

I have had good results with 72 gr. of reloader 19 under those bullets in my tikka 338.Never hunted bison but moose and deer do not walk too far after I shoot!

If it's 338WM,most powders work well,from IMR-4350 to RL-22.It's not a fussy cartridge.For rough sighting in the scope,I used that bullet and the starting load of H-4350,for one hole groups. For hunting I use Accubonds,same size and 74grs of N-560.good luck

IMR-4831.....work up to 2800-2850 fps and you will find accuracy. At least I did with my Sako. Believe 73 gr. gave me 2800 fps and MOA groups . Start 4 grains lower and watch for pressure signs.

With the 225 SST, I use 70 g of IMR 4350 for 2800 ft/sec. 71.5g provides 2900 ft/sec, backed the load down but not due to pressure.
